The Backgammon game is played on a board that is made of two intersecting paths. Each path has a number of checkerboard squares marked with numbers from 1 to 8, and each square can have one of the two colors, green or blue. There are 64 total squares on the board, and at the start of the game, each of the paths has an equal number of checkerboard squares, and the number of colored squares on each path is also equal.
The object of the game is to move all of your pieces, according to the number on the dice, from the opponent’s side to your side.
To move a piece, you need to roll the dice. A player can only move his piece if the number on the dice is equal to the number of the piece that he wants to move.
If a player rolls a 6, he can move one of his pieces to any of the 8 positions on the board, and if he rolls a 7, he can move one of his pieces to any position on the board, except for the position where his opponent is sitting.
When a player rolls a 6, he can move his opponent’s pieces, if he has not already.
